Navy PRT Calculator & Scoring Standards
Navy PRT calculator on the Guide-5A standards: score push-ups, plank, and the run, row, or swim, then see your category and compare altitude tables.
How Navy PRT standards are scored
Guide-5A reports an overall category from the average event points. The component minimum still applies to push-ups, plank, and the selected cardio event. A strong run cannot erase a failed push-up event.
The guide directs stationary-bike scoring to the official PFA application, using both model and calorie burn. This is not a Navy PRT bike calculator: it does not invent a universal bike formula. Check your BCA separately with the Navy body fat calculator and review the source documents.

Questions about this tool
How is the Navy PRT average determined?
The displayed training average comes from the three event point scores. Each component must also meet its published minimum, so a high average cannot erase a failed event. The category follows the current Guide 5A scoring structure. Your CFL and official record system determine the official assessment result and any administrative treatment.
Why is there no unofficial bike-calorie equation?
The current guide directs stationary-bike scoring through the official application and approved equipment process. A generic calorie-and-weight equation is not published here as an equivalent. Use that authorized process for a bike result. The calculator supports the public run, row, and swim tables without inventing a model-specific conversion.
Do 500-yard and 450-meter swims use one shared time?
The guide publishes separate performance columns for the two swim distances. The option selector chooses the corresponding column, so enter the time recorded for the distance actually completed. Do not change the option while retaining a time from a different distance and assume that it represents the same assessed performance.
Which Navy altitude threshold selects the alternate tables?
Guide 5A provides tables for assessments conducted above 5,000 feet. Select that setting only when it applies under the governing instructions. The tool does not locate the assessment site or authorize a test modification. Review the public source and confirm conditions with the CFL before using altitude-adjusted scoring.
