Air Force PT Calculator (2026 PFRA Standards)
Air Force PT test calculator for the 2026 PFRA: score the 2-mile run or HAMR, push-ups, plank or sit-ups, and recorded WHtR, then check every minimum.
How the 2026 Air Force PT test is scored
The current PFRA charts allocate 50 points to cardio, 20 to recorded WHtR, and 15 each to strength and core. Choose run or HAMR and the allowed strength and core options. A composite score of 75 is insufficient when a tested fitness component misses its minimum.
The recorded WHtR field accepts hundredths, matching the score chart. Enter the measurement recorded by your grader rather than an unrounded estimate. Review the full Air Force PT standards and score charts for your age group, and the waist-to-height ratio calculator for separate measurement context.

Questions about this tool
Can a PFRA score over 75 still be unsatisfactory?
Yes. The calculator checks the published physical-event component minimums as well as the 75-point overall threshold. A failed strength, core, or aerobic minimum remains unsatisfactory even if other components raise the total above 75. WHtR is included in the total according to the current published scoring chart.
How does the run and HAMR comparison work?
The tool finds the threshold in the other aerobic option that earns at least the points shown for your selected performance. The comparison uses the same age and sex column. It describes scoring equivalence, not equal training difficulty or individual suitability. Confirm which test option is authorized for your assessment.
Why does the WHtR score field use a recorded ratio?
You may enter an officially recorded ratio directly or use the measurement panel. AFMAN 36-2905 records height to the nearest half inch, rounds waist readings and their closest-three average down to a half inch, and truncates the ratio to two decimal places. Changing valid measurement inputs updates the scored ratio and total.
What changes when I switch the strength or core event?
The score lookup, displayed unit, and entry range switch to the selected published event. A fresh example value is loaded because repetitions and time are not interchangeable. Review the resulting inputs before saving a roster entry or sharing a score link, especially when changing between a plank and a repetition-based core event.
